The Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Program helps eligible individuals with physical and/or mental disabilities obtain and/or maintain employment in a competitive integrated work site. Our team of VR professionals is ready to work with you to make employment a reality. We can assist with providing customized, individualized services including: assessment for eligibility, career exploration, and planning for employment; disability management through counseling, therapies, treatments, or assistive devices; training to enhance skills using instruction and work experiences in work sites or through educational partnerships; job search assistance to help you find competitive integrated employment, and support once you are on the job.
Roosevelt Warm Springs (RWS) is a residential vocational training center located on a sprawling historic campus in Meriwether County. RWS students earn certifications in competitive, high demand fields like Computer Numeric Control (CNC), graphic design, forklift operation, horticulture and more.
Disability Adjudication Services (DAS) is a fully-federally funded program that makes Social Security disability determinations under an agreement with the Social Security Administration.
Headquartered in Bainbridge, Georgia Industries for the Blind (GIB) has additional locations in Warner Robins and Griffin. Manufacturing a broad array of products and operating a call center, GIB’s mission is to provide employment opportunities for individuals who are blind or have low vision.
The Business Enterprise Program (BEP) provides business opportunities for eligible and qualified people to become licensed blind vendors, operating military cafeterias, snack bars, sundry shops and vending machine locations.
Cave Spring Center (CSC) is a residential center in Floyd County, dedicated to providing the necessary life, social and academic skills to help clients pursue work or further training. Many CSC staff are proficient in American Sign Language (ASL), giving specialized support to clients who are deaf. Request Services
